Inspirations Studio The members of the Inspirations Studio have been impacted by poverty, trauma, homelessness, mental and physical health and/or addictions. The studio’s core mission is to facilitate improvements in members’ lives through the making and selling of pottery. Through creative, therapeutic and skill building work, women gain a sense of self-confidence, dignity and stability, a connection with community, supplemental income and a new way to engage with the world as makers. FoodShare TO FoodShare aims to centre food justice by collaborating with and taking cues from those most affected by poverty and food insecurity — Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, People with Disabilities. T.A.S.T.E. Program - Current York Students
"The objective of this program is to provide York Students with an opportunity to talk face to face with a professional about their Career Related Interests." York International Internships - Current York Students Global Internships provide York undergraduate and graduate students a funded opportunity to intern in another country, or at an international host within Canada, for 3 months during the summer, starting in May. This opportunity may also be eligible for an ILST credit! The deadline to apply for a Global Internship with York International is usually in December. Ontario Internship Program - Graduates The Ontario Internship Program invests in committed, talented graduates seeking a great opportunity to start and accelerate their careers. It's a paid developmental opportunity to grow top talent while delivering important public services to the people of Ontario. Individuals may apply within 5 years of graduation. United Nations Internship Program - Upper Year Students and Graduates The United Nations provides internship opportunities at UN Headquarters in New York, and at other major UN duty stations. Applicants must, at the time of application, either be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent or higher); or be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent); or they must have graduated with a university degree (as defined above) and if selected, must commence the internship within a one-year period of graduation. ILST 4300 6.00 The Department of International Studies has created a professional internship, credited as a full-year course. Internships can be held in Canada or abroad, in the public or private sector, and can deal with any major dimension of the international (strategic, economic, legal, diplomatic and cultural). Internships are reserved to 4th year students of the Department of International Studies exclusively. Professional Associations
